Demerits of Online Education

Online Education is a blessing in disguise that has kept the youth from remaining uneducated during this Covid19 Lockdown period. It helps in saving a lot of time that can otherwise be wasted on activities like going to school or tuition centre. It has started some smart learning methods that can be very helpful to the students. It is worthy to say that online education has helped the students to remain more focused on studies. But, having nothing better to say, I am forced to declare that this mode of education has not sufficed. Fun, combined learning and human relationship are generally appreciated. Besides its technical issues and drastic influence on health, students like me deeply fell the absence of teacher in real world and the absence of quality education. It cannot be denied that learning in real classes can be more effective and life longer than learning in virtual classes. In Spite of teaching 7-8 classes in a week(eg- English) teachers are forced to have only 3-4 classes just because of this state of emergency. Syllabus completion is a matter of concern and indeed it is hardly possible for any teacher to bring back the quality education in these little classes. Having nothing better to do, students with a will to score high are forced to study for long hours in a day (12 hours) locked up inside the four walls. Many people say "When we were at your age we did not get so much free time. Utilise this golden opportunity". They hardly understand our pain.
